Turid Pederson to showcase at Blue Rain Gallery

A native of Oslo, Norway, Pedersen is a classically trained artist who combines the techniques of the early Flemish masters and Spanish baroque painters with subject matter inspired by the Mimbres culture of southwestern New Mexico.

Indian Market Week 2008

Blue Rain Style Show

Blue Rain Gallery would like to thank everyone for a fun and successful Indian Market week. One of the many highlights was Blue Rain's first Style Show, celebrating jewelry designers Larry Vasquez, Tammy Garcia, Maria Samora, David and Wayne Nez Gaussion, Cody Sanderson along with bead artists Jamie Okuma and Sandra Okuma. The evening was packed with artists and art aficionados anxious to see new designs on models as they glided through the crowd adorned with jewelry.

Weekend Demonstrations

A glass blowing demonstration by Preston Singletary and a bronze patina demonstration by Bronzesmith Foundary over the weekend were well attended by hundreds of people curious of the unique processes.
